Dear West Prince Businesses:

Future Tech West, O'Leary, is an Information Technology Centre where we focus on education and corporate training programs. We are equipped with the latest conveniences and technology necessary for full connectivity and prosperous business. We aim to initiate opportunities for companies, educational institutions, and sustainable employment in Western Prince Edward Island.  

Our building has office rental space to lease, a training lab, board room and multipurpose room to rent hourly or daily.  Future Tech West is also the home to the O'Leary Community Access Program (CAP) Site where local residents and tourists can come and access the internet, print, copy and fax with or without assistance as needed.

Future Tech West offers a literacy program, book clubs for teens and adults, recreational classes such as photography and scrapbooking, and computer training programs.  It also houses the Holland College Licensed Practical Nursing program, and various courses for UPEI.

We work closely with organizations such as the PEI Senior Citizens’ Federation and O’Leary Seniors Sunshine Club to provide learning and recreational programs for seniors.  This community service is successful, popular, and growing.

It is in this context that we now ask for your support.

This is a two-story building and requires an elevator to allow seniors and disabled persons to access both levels.   The cost for the elevator, installation and making the building wheelchair accessible is $41,851.  We have received funding for $31,388 and need to raise another $10,463. Since we are a non-profit organization, we are reaching out to local businesses for help!  

We have set up a fund that you can participate in the following way:  Sponsorship Packages (All Sponsors will be named on plaque that will be displayed next to the elevator near the entrance of the building.)

• Gold $1000 and above – unlimited free use of Multi Purpose room, training lab, boardroom for one full year (subject to availability).  Printing of 100 free business cards.
• Silver $500 - $999 – 20 hours free use of Multi Purpose room, training lab, boardroom (subject to availability and must be used within a year).  Printing of 100 free business cards.
• Bronze $100 – $499 – 8 hours free use of Multi Purpose room, training lab, boardroom (subject to availability and must be used within a year).  Printing of 100 free business cards.

Our goal is to raise this money by January, 2012.
